Was a devoted Christian, broadcaster, writer, and businesswoman whose life was marked by faith, service, and compassion. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Frank E. Veale and Ethyl Gessert Veale, she married Earl Seeger Nolting, Sr., and together they raised their son, Earl Nolting, Jr. Gladys began her career as an advertising copywriter for WCSI Radio in Columbus, Indiana. She later co-owned and operated WHDM Radio in McKenzie, Tennessee, where she wrote advertising copy and hosted a weekday morning radio program for women. She concluded her professional career as Executive Secretary to the Dean of the Dental School at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After the passing of her husband in 1990, Gladys devoted her time to writing personal reflections inspired by Scripture. Her writings, rooted in the enduring message of Psalm 100, became a source of encouragement for those seeking hope, comfort, and joy in every season of life.
